Abstract
La présence médiatique du harcèlement moral interroge sa légitimité sociale et psychopathologique. Comprendre la redoutable toxicité de la situation de harcèlement impose de se pencher sur les enjeux identitaires liés à la situation de travail. Il s’agit de replacer ce nouveau syndrome dans le contexte plus large des effets positifs et négatifs de l’organisation du travail sur la santé psychique et physique. Les mécanismes de défense individuels et les stratégies collectives mobilisés par les sujets pour tenir au travail peuvent souder ou disloquer un collectif de travail entraînant la désignation d’un bouc émissaire. L’intériorisation des valeurs organisationnelles de l’entreprise autorisent la banalisation du mal exercé sur autrui, sa systématisation en techniques de disciplinarisation du corps. La rencontre avec le réseau de prise en charge, médecin du travail, médecin inspecteur, médecin généraliste, psychologue n’est pas qu’une stratégie médico-administrative. Ce travail du lien met un terme symbolique à l’isolement du harcelé et un point d’arrêt à la désintrication psychosomatique en cours.
