Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) is discussed as an efficient and simple means for decentralized access control to a common communication channel shared by several users. The delay and throughput performance of CSMA with priority acknowledgments (CSMA/PA), a scheme which enables message and acknowledgment packets to share the same communication channel bandwidth effectively, are calculated. The analysis includes the effect of channel errors on both message and acknowledgment packets, user population size and modem detection, and synchronization delay. Excellent agreement is observed between the analytical results and those obtained from measurements on an actual noisy five-node intrabuilding power line LAN operating at transmission rates ranging from 1.2 to 9.6 kb/s.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
