Abstract
Les récents développements du conflit israélo-palestinien semblent apporter la preuve – s'il en fallait encore une – que ce conflit n'est pas tant compréhensible en termes politiques que psychologiques. En effectuant une synthèse de la littérature scientifique psychologique portant spécifiquement sur ce conflit, nous espérons établir la pertinence d'une telle approche pour le politiste et, peutêtre, pour le responsable politique. À la suite d'une introduction revenant sur les intérêts d'une telle analyse, nous considérons trois éclairages psychologiques sur le conflit israélo-palestinien: les perceptions du conflit par ses acteurs, les dynamiques identitaires et l'émergence de l'agressivité, et enfin les effets de la violence sur la santé mentale. Une conclusion résume ces apports et ouvre le débat.
