L'article décrit, au moyen de principes théoriques, un environnement pédagogique d'aide à l'écriture coopérative et interdisciplinaire, sur support hypermédia, ayant été élaboré puis validé par des experts dans une recherche-développement. Cet environnement comporte deux volets: un logiciel outil, accompagnant les élèves dans leur démarche d'écriture, sous forme de résolution de problèmes en six temps, et essayant de leur faire développer stratégies et réflexions métacognitives; un cadre de référence sur la conception de projets coopératifs et interdisciplinaires à l'intention des enseignants. Selon les experts, l'environnement aide les élèves à mieux écrire, mais la présence des enseignants se révèle indispensable à l'apprentissage.
