Cette étude qualitative vise à décrire les stratégies d’apprentissage rapportées par 31 étudiantes durant l’activité de groupe d’un tutorat de soins infirmiers et à identifier la part des stratégies davantage associées au traitement de l’information en profondeur ou en surface. Les étudiantes sont inscrites dans un curriculum en apprentissage par problèmes et les données ont été recueillies lors d’entrevues, à l’aide d’un questionnaire semi-structuré. Les résultats montrent que les étudiantes s’expriment peu sur ce qu’elles font durant le travail de groupe, qu’elles identifient davantage des stratégies associées au traitement en surface des informations que des stratégies en profondeur, et qu’elles sont nombreuses à évaluer négativement leur performance.
