Abstract
The drape simulation software tool was introduced to digitalize the forming process before press forming of contour sensitive part structure. The design structural flaws detected were corrected in advanced through the simulation process prediction. This article presents the effect of drape simulation process with real life layup, for continuous fiber reinforced composite development in the aerospace industry. The observation gave an insight into the post production process of the product by validating the effectiveness of the need for further study in the compatibility of drape simulation software in the manufacturing process.
