Abstract
Through a study of Cuban cultural pluralism, the Author offers a multicultural perspective of local syncretism. Thanks to the analysis of some Afro-Cuban traditional elements, the Author describes the main features of this national minority, and he illustrates how these elements are bound to the current sociocultural Cuban environment.
