Abstract
L’article identifie les types de relations que des adolescents de 13-14 ans entretiennent avec leur environnement. Les chercheurs ont choisi trois moments de l’expérience : le trajet vers l’école, une aventure en milieu naturel comprenant un moment de solitude et l’accomplissement d’une action environnementale. Les résultats des entrevues individuelles et de groupe démontrent que les adolescents sont spontanément moins intéressés par l’environnement que leurs camarades plus jeunes. Toutefois, des activités pédagogiques dans la nature qui leur permettent de s’émerveiller, de se reposer, de découvrir, de jouer et d’aider les animaux avec leurs amis peuvent éveiller un intérêt latent pour l’environnement et favoriser une rencontre avec le milieu.
