Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We present results of searches for diphoton resonances produced both inclusively and also in association with a vector boson $(W$ or $Z)$ using $100 {\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of $p\overline{p}$ collisions using the CDF detector. We set upper limits on the product of cross section times branching ratio for both $p\overline{p}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}+X$ and $p\overline{p}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}+W/Z.$ Comparing the inclusive production to the expectations from heavy sgoldstinos we derive limits on the supersymmetry-breaking scale $\sqrt{F}$ in the TeV range, depending on the sgoldstino mass and the choice of other parameters. Also, using a NLO prediction for the associated production of a Higgs boson with a W or Z boson, we set an upper limit on the branching ratio for $\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{H}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}.$ Finally, we set a lower limit on the mass of a ``bosophilic'' Higgs boson (e.g., one which couples only to $\ensuremath{\gamma},$ W, and Z bosons with standard model couplings) of $82 \mathrm{GeV}{/c}^{2}$ at 95% confidence level.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
