Abstract The slip flows in a polygonal duct with a circular core and in an eccentric annular duct are studied by eigenfunction expansion and point match. It is found that the velocity distributions are quite different from those of no‐slip flow. The resistance (Poisueille number) decreases dramatically with increased slip. Les résultats montrent que la distribution des vitesses est différente par rapport aux écoulements non glissants.
