Abstract
Cet article examine les courants majeurs de recherche sur l’enseignement et distingue trois épistémologies appartenant à des courants de recherche contemporains, chacun définissant l’enseignement à sa manière; ainsi, le paradigme processus/produit définit l’enseignement en termes d’efficacité, alors que l’étude cognitive de l’enseignement isole les paramètres d’une « expertise » enseignante et que la recherche sur la connaissance de l’enseignant situe l’enseignement dans la capacité de transformer la connaissance. Dans cette dernière ligne de pensée, l’auteur propose de distinguer la transposition didactique et la transformation pédagogique comme deux modes de traitement de la connaissance.
