Abstract
Deux propositions sont formulées par les auteurs : définir le bénévolat comme un moment privilégié de reconnaissance de soi et de l’autre, et comprendre ses transformations les plus récentes sous l’angle de la construction et de la transformation des identités. Ces propositions sont introduites par quelques remarques critiques et historiques touchant les études sur le bénévolat et appuyées par l’examen de deux exemples : le bénévolat culturel et le bénévolat féminin.
