Abstract
Écrites à partir de la situation particulière d’une université confessionnelle reconnue par l’État — l’Université catholique de Louvain —, ces réflexions envisagent les rapports entre l’université et une faculté de théologie. Après avoir esquissé à grands traits la nature du projet universitaire et relevé quelques défis qui se présentent à l’université d’aujourd’hui, l’auteur examine la nature et les conditions de la contribution, dans le champ universitaire, d’une faculté de théologie qui assume pleinement son rôle comme celui d’une science humaine en dialogue avec les autres, notamment les sciences des religions.
