Abstract
Dans cet article, nous examinons les itineraires de soins d’enfants souffrant de troubles fonctionnels gastro-intestinaux, a partir d’une analyse centree sur les rapports de continuite et de discontinuite entre la douleur qu’expriment les enfants, les significations qui s’y rattachent dans la famille et les actions therapeutiques entreprises. Dans cette optique, nous avons documente trois dimensions des recits : semiologique (les signes), interpretative (les sens) et pragmatique (les actions). L’identification des dynamiques a l’œuvre, en termes de continuite/discontinuite entre ces dimensions a mis au jour trois forces differentes en jeu dans les itineraires de soins : la medicalisation, la socialisation et la solitude. Nous les avons appelees « forces » car elles faconnent et inflechissent les itineraires de soins au sein des familles et des services de sante.
