Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The equations of the PWM voltage-source converter (PWM-VSC) are inherently nonlinear. This paper applies the nonlinear control, associated with A. Isidori, to the unified power flow controller (UPFC). Since the UPFC comprises two PWM-VSCs, this paper is one step further in complexity than the previous application of nonlinear control to the static compensator (STATCOM), which consists of one PWM-VSC. The key in applying nonlinear control is the art of formulating the "Lyapunov function", which fits the bilinear equations of the PWM-VSCs. As the family of controllers of flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) are based on PWM-VSC, the same key is used to unlock the UPFC.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
