Abstract
Résumé Le financement des biens publics via des politiques publiques, des dons privés ou les ventes est un débat qui touche actuellement fortement l’économie sociale. Les études empiriques sont mitigées quant à la relation entre ces différents types de ressources (effet d’éviction ou de renforcement). En mobilisant un modèle multivarié de sélection (appelé également « Heckman généralisé ») susceptible de répondre aux difficultés posées par la modélisation économétrique de ces effets, nous mettons en évidence, à partir de données d’une enquête originale sur l’économie sociale de Montréal, qu’un dollar de subvention publique (ou 1 % d’augmentation) entraîne une augmentation de 10 cents des ventes (soit 0,15 % d’augmentation).
