Étude des erreurs dans une épreuve de rendement sur le concept

Abstract
Dans cette étude, on a vérifié si la méconnaissance du rôle joué par certaines propriétés dans la définition du concept était reliée aux erreurs commises dans l’identification d’exemples du même concept. La maîtrise de deux concepts (hauteur du triangle et adjectif verbal épithète) a été étudiée auprès de 595 élèves de troisième secondaire de la région de Québec. Une méthodologie exploratoire a été appliquée pour tenter de démontrer l’hypothèse avancée. Les résultats des travaux permettent de croire qu’un lien tend effectivement à exister entre la difficulté de reconnaître le caractère essentiel ou accessoire d’une propriété dans un concept et les caractéristiques des erreurs commises dans une tâche d’identification portant sur ce même concept.
