Abstract
L'analyse des principaux concepts du matérialisme historique s'appliquant à l'étude des inégalités régionales et le test partiel de quelques-uns de ces concepts dans le cadre de la région de Québec, permettent de proposer l'hypothèse suivante- le processus fondamental dans lequel s'inscrit le phénomène du développement inégal au niveau infrarégional est celui de la spécialisation des régions et de sous rimons dans des branches de la production dont la composition océanique est différente Ce processus pourrait expliquer celui de la division spatiale du travail
