Abstract
Au cours des 20 dernières années, plusieurs féministes ont cru bon de puiser au sein de l’oeuvre de la théoricienne du politique Hannah Arendt afin de penser une éthique ducarequi serait véritablement émancipatrice et démocratique. L’auteure montre dans son article pourquoi ce recours à Arendt est problématique, et ce, à l’aide d’une réflexion sur deux éléments importants que l’éthique ducarea apportés à la philosophie politique : d’abord, la réarticulation de plusieurs débats en fait de besoins (plutôt que de droits); ensuite, une transformation radicale du concept de « voix ». En conclusion, l’auteure offre quelques réflexions sur l’un des défis auxquels fait face le féminisme ducare: penser son institutionnalisation.
