Abstract
The authors would like to thank the discussers for their interest in our paper [1], where the definitions of the power components contained in the IEEE Standard 1459-2000 were reformulated using the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) which is a time-frequency transform that allows preserving both time and frequency information. In [1], five decomposition levels in the DWT tree were selected, leading to six nonuniform frequency bands.
