Zusammenfassung Hintergrund: Es wird vermutet, dass Stress sowohl die für das allergische Asthma bronchiale typische allergische Immunreaktion verstärken kann als auch den Atemwegsumbau beeinflusst. Methode: Zur Untersuchung dieser klassisch psychosomatischen Fragestellung nutzten wir ein Tiermodell, welches etablierte Protokolle zur Induktion einer allergischen Atemwegsinflammation sowie der Stressexposition verbindet. Ergebnisse: Nach Stress zeigten die Tiere beider Mausstämme eine signifikant höhere Gesamtzellzahl von Leukozyten in der BAL-Flüssigkeit im Vergleich zu nicht gestressten Tieren sowie eine erhöhte Anzahl von eosinophilen Zellen. Die immunhistochemischen Untersuchungen ergaben nach Stress bei CBA/J Mäusen im Vergleich zu den Tieren ohne Stress eine signifikant höhere Anzahl von gd+T-Zellen, eine signifikant niedrigere Anzahl von CD8+-Zellen sowie von apoptotischen Zellen. Nach der Applikation von Stress wurde bei BALB/c Mäusen eine signifikant höhere Anzahl von proliferierten Zellen ermittelt.
