Abstract
Le voyageur present dans le Paris du XVIIIeme siecle utilise les supports imprimes susceptibles de le renseigner sur les comportements et habitudes urbaines. Il laisse egalement sa trace par l'ecriture, la publication, voire la lecture de ses aventures a ses compatriotes. Il raconte la ville, ce qu'il y a vu, ce qu'il y a vecu et comment tout voyageur doit se preparer pour ce periple. Le present article met en lumiere les processus de mise en litterature de ce voyage et comment la promenade devient une pratique realisee dans l'ensemble de la ville, devenant par la une habitude urbaine que s'approprie une categorie de population etrangere. Elle sert a connaitre la Cite et organiser le recit selon un plan logique et structure.
