Abstract
L’auteur étudie les attitudes des parents acadiens à l’égard de l’enseignement du français et de l’anglais, ainsi qu’à l’égard de l’enseignement en ces deux langues dans le système scolaire acadien néo-écossais à partir d’un questionnaire contenant 48 énoncés. De ces 48 énoncés, 20 portèrent sur ces questions d’enseignement. L’auteur en présente six pour lesquels des différences significatives lui permettent de conclure que les attitudes des parents acadiens plus scolarisés sont plus positives que celles des parents moins scolarisés, ce qui semble très important pour l’avenir de la langue française en Nouvelle-Écosse.
