Ce texte porte sur le thème de l' experiential learning qui, au cours des vingt-cinq dernières années, a traversé l'espace de l'éducation des adultes et en a modifié les pratiques. Sur le plan de la recherche, ce vaste courant a fait progresser la notion d'apprentissage aussi bien que celle d'expérience. Définie à ses débuts comme une démarche de construction de savoirs, la notion d' experiential learning glisse insensiblement au fil du temps vers la recherche de sens et entraîne avec elle dans cette direction la notion d'apprentissage.
