La technologie de l’éducation est d’abord traitée en tant qu’outil d’intervention rationnelle orientant l’intuition du technologue dans la recherche, le développement, l’adaptation et l’application de solutions satisfaisantes aux problèmes que rencontre le praticien. Puis, elle est envisagée sous l’angle de la dynamique des systèmes à travers laquelle sont traités les intrants, les transformations et les extrants du processus. Les extrants y sont abordés selon trois aspects différents’: l’utilisation de « mini-théories », le recadrage de la situation problématique et le développement de stratégies de résolution de problèmes.
