Abstract
Les transformations récentes apportées aux systèmes de sécurité sociale latino-américains ont fait intervenir de nouveaux acteurs agissant au niveau supra-étatique. Mais ces forces transnationales n'ont pas été partout en mesure d'influencer les débats entourant la privatisation partielle ou complète des systèmes de pension. Cet article propose une discussion des facteurs permettant d'expliquer les degrés différents de vulnérabilité auxquels ont été soumis l'Argentine, le Brésil et le Chili lors de la réforme de la sécurité sociale. Si les analyses actuelles suggèrent un rapprochement des modèles nationaux de politique sociale dans le contexte de la mondialisation, ce travail laisse présager une plus grande divergence des modèles postérieurs aux réformes.
