Abstract
"En agosto de 2012 el desempleo en España ha alcanzado a casi una cuarta parte de los que desean trabajar, desde el último trimestre de 2011 registra tasas negativas de crecimiento del PIB y las estimaciones coinciden en que no será sino hasta 2014 cuando se empiecen a percibir algunos síntomas de recuperación. ¿Cómo, por qué, se ha llegado a esta situación? Hasta hace solo unos cuantos años -hasta 2008 concretamente-, la economía española arrojaba resultados muy distintos y, en apariencia, no había motivos sólidos para suponer que pudiera ocurrir lo que sí está ocurriendo. Esta nota intenta una revisión de lo ocurrido."
