Abstract
La musique électroacoustique de tradition schaefferienne semble à bout de souffle depuis quelques années. Les causes possibles de ce déclin sont abordées par un examen de quelques épineux problèmes technologiques, linguistiques et publics de la musique électroacoustique. Dans un second temps, une solution est amenée par le biais de la vidéomusique, une nouvelle forme hybride combinant musique électronique sur support et vidéo. Quelques balises du genre sont proposées.
