Abstract
Dans les recherches sur l’adulte, les concepts de crise et de transition sont fréquemment avancés pour circonscrire la réalité évolutive de l’adulte. Cependant, peu de chercheurs justifient le pourquoi de l’utilisation du concept de crise ou du concept de transition . Une définition opérationnelle de ces concepts est d’abord présentée. Nous procédons ensuite à l’analyse de ces deux concepts à la lumière des recherches de Daniel Levinson et de Bernice Neugarten.
