El sociólogo Luis Alberto Quevedo se refirió a los desafíos e impactos de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC´s) en la Educación en el marco de la implementación del Programa Conectar igualdad en Argentina. El objetivo de este programa es introducir y fomentar el uso de las TIC´s como herramientas para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. A su vez, apunta a realizar la entrega de tres millones de computadoras en el período 2010-2012 con el propósito de impactar no sólo en el desarrollo de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje dentro del aula sino también en miles de hogares y familias que por primera vez accederían a una tecnología como ésta.
