Abstract
We study the decay ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}D{K}^{*\ensuremath{-}}$ using a sample of $379\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}B\overline{B}$ events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II $B$ factory. We perform a Gronau-London-Wyler analysis where the $D$ meson decays into either a $CP$-even ($CP+$) eigenstate (${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$), $CP$-odd ($CP\ensuremath{-}$) eigenstate (${K}_{S}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, ${K}_{S}^{0}\ensuremath{\phi}$, ${K}_{S}^{0}\ensuremath{\omega}$) or a non-$CP$ state (${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$). We also analyze $D$ meson decays into ${K}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ from a Cabibbo-favored ${\overline{D}}^{0}$ decay or doubly suppressed ${D}^{0}$ decay [Atwood-Dunietz-Soni (ADS) analysis]. We measure observables that are sensitive to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle $\ensuremath{\gamma}$: the partial-rate charge asymmetries ${\mathcal{A}}_{CP\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$, the ratios ${\mathcal{R}}_{CP\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ of the $B$-decay branching fractions in $CP\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}$ and non-$CP$ decay, the ratio ${\mathcal{R}}_{\mathrm{ADS}}$ of the charge-averaged branching fractions, and the charge asymmetry ${\mathcal{A}}_{\mathrm{ADS}}$ of the ADS decays: ${\mathcal{A}}_{CP+}=0.09\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.13\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.06$, ${\mathcal{A}}_{CP\ensuremath{-}}=\ensuremath{-}0.23\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.21\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.07$, ${\mathcal{R}}_{CP+}=2.17\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.35\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.09$, ${\mathcal{R}}_{CP\ensuremath{-}}=1.03\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.27\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.13$, ${\mathcal{R}}_{\mathrm{ADS}}=0.066\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.031\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.010$, and ${\mathcal{A}}_{\mathrm{ADS}}=\ensuremath{-}0.34\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.43\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.16$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Combining all the measurements and using a frequentist approach yields the magnitude of the ratio between the Cabibbo-suppressed and favored amplitudes, ${r}_{B}=0.31$ with a one (two) sigma confidence level interval of [0.24, 0.38] ([0.17, 0.43]). The value ${r}_{B}=0$ is excluded at the 3.3 sigma level. A similar analysis excludes values of $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ in the intervals [0, 7]\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}, [55, 111]\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}, and [175, 180]\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} ([85, 99]\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}) at the one (two) sigma confidence level.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
