Abstract
Le Quebec, comme le Canada en general, depend de maniere significative de l’immigration pour assurer sa croissance demographique. Certains ministeres (Immigration, Sante et Services sociaux, Education), de maniere conjointe ou non, y mettent en place des programmes de soutien aux familles immigrantes. Cependant, l’integration sociale et scolaire de ces dernieres releve d’autres facteurs complexes, dont leur capital humain et social, leur trajectoire d’immigration, la situation socio-economique de la societe d’accueil, ainsi que le climat d’ouverture ou de discrimination a l’endroit des immigrants.
