Abstract
Dans cette étude, les difficultés de comportement et le fonctionnement émotionnel et comportemental de 36 enfants fréquentant des classes « Kangourou » (CK) sont comparés à ceux de 21 enfants avec des difficultés de comportement recevant les services scolaires traditionnels. Les perceptions des enseignants et des parents quant à l’efficacité des CK sur le fonctionnement des enfants et le temps que les élèves des CK ont passé en intégration dans une classe ordinaire sont ensuite décrits. Globalement, les résultats montrent une plus grande amélioration des enfants fréquentant les CK sur les variables mesurant le fonctionnement émotionnel ainsi qu’une perception très positive de l’impact des CK sur le fonctionnement des enfants par les enseignants et les parents.
