Abstract
Cet article décrit l’évolution du nombre de responsables d’établissements du primaire, du secondaire et du collégial selon le sexe et le statut civil, de 1958 à 1985. À partir des données recueillies, l’auteure analyse les effets possibles de l’étatisation du système d’éducation et de la généralisation de la mixité au niveau des élèves. Elle constate la baisse de la proportion des femmes responsables dans les établissements d’éducation.
