Stability analysis of optimal time-delayed vehicle suspension systems
Bibliographic record
Abstract
A realistic form of active suspension system incorporating the effect of actuator time delay is considered. The resulting time-delayed system is optimized by minimizing the sprung mass maximum peak frequency response. Due to the dynamical behavior of the actuator, the characteristic equation of system is transcendental and the order of equations shall increase. Using a simple quarter-car model, the control parameters are optimally determined by solving a constrained optimization problem. The constraints are dictated by both the vehicle stability characteristics and the physical bounds placed on the feedback gains. A new method of the stability chart strategy, with fixed time delay, is introduced in order to address the stability issue. Results demonstrate that, for a given set of feedback gains, larger values of the actuator time delay reveals to higher values of the peak response of the sprung mass acceleration.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
