Abstract

Cet article présente une étude menée auprès de 70 directions d'école primaire sur les services offerts aux élèves en difficulté d'apprentissage. Les données, recueillies par entrevue, ont été dépouillées par analyse de contenu. Les résultats obtenus révèlent que les directions jouent un rôle important dans l'attribution des services aux enfants en difficulté d'apprentissage. Ils indiquent aussi que les services d'orthopédagogie sont offerts en général sous forme de dénombrement flottant et non directement dans les classes ordinaires. L'article décrit également les procédures utilisées dans les écoles pour offrir les services : processus de référence, plans d'intervention personnalisés, projets, etc.
