Abstract
L’article présente les résultats d’une recherche portant sur les processus de mobilisation syndicale à la suite de fermetures d’entreprises. Les mobilisations étudiées permettent de comprendre comment le répertoire d’action du mouvement syndical s’élargit en réaction contre les nouvelles contraintes auxquelles il est confronté. Bien que la recherche ait porté sur treize cas de mobilisation, l’article reprend trois de ces cas dans une courte monographie permettant de saisir à la fois le contexte de la lutte et le processus de mobilisation. L’analyse des luttes étudiées nous permet de dégager un certain nombre de constats et d’illustrer comment l’action syndicale est en mesure d’innover. L’article nous permet de caractériser le contexte dans lequel prennent place les luttes pour l’emploi. Un contexte où il est de plus en plus important pour les institutions de développer des stratégies novatrices contribuant à maintenir un lien élevé de connectivité aux grandes sources de pouvoir et d’avoir.
