Abstract
Dans un contexte de coopération à distance, cette étude expérimentale, menée dans le contexte éducatif français, teste l’hypothèse selon laquelle la simple catégorisation des élèves dans un groupe et la comparaison à d’autres groupes devrait permettre la création d’un sentiment d’appartenance, une meilleure coopération et une amélioration des performances collectives et ce, quelle que soit la composition des groupes (majoritairement féminine/masculine). Les résultats invitent à discuter des processus de groupe complexes, validant en partie notre hypothèse de départ. Toutefois, concernant les performances collectives, ce contexte d’apprentissage apparaît bien comme un contexte équitable pour les élèves filles et les élèves garçons.
