Abstract
Cet article se propose de regarder les différences entre les femmes et les hommes dans les situations de pauvreté afin de fournir des éléments qui puissent expliquer ces inégalités et interroger les dispositifs d’aide eux-mêmes. Dans un premier temps, un bilan statistique sexué de la précarité professionnelle, de la pauvreté (monétaire, en condition de vie, administrative) et des risques d’exclusion est réalisé. Son analyse montre des positionnements différenciés entre les hommes et les femmes mais, également, au sein de la population féminine selon les configurations familiales. Ce bilan met notamment en lumière le cumul des difficultés auxquelles sont confrontés les ménages monoparentaux, composés majoritairement de femmes seules avec leur(s) enfant(s). Dans un second temps, une réflexion sur les systèmes d’aide rend visibles des logiques qui n’encouragent pas l’autonomie des femmes et contribuent ainsi à la reproduction des inégalités.
