Abstract
Résumé Au sein de chaque industrie, les entreprises évoluent suivant des taux de croissance fort divers. Cette expansion inégale est encore plus évidente dans les activités requérant beaucoup de connaissances, comme la biotechnologie. Il existe plusieurs explications de ce phénomène d’une croissance inégale. Ainsi, cet article analyse la croissance des entreprises de recherche en santé humaine au Québec, et tout particulièrement celles qui sont spécialisées dans la biotechnologie. Notre recherche montre que l’organisation d’alliances avec des entreprises et l’exportation de produits, expliquent presque totalement la croissance.
