Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We present the first measurement of the integrated forward-backward charge asymmetry in top-quark--top-antiquark pair ($t\overline{t}$) production in proton-antiproton ($p\overline{p}$) collisions in the $\mathrm{\text{lepton}}+\mathrm{\text{jets}}$ final state. Using a $b$-jet tagging algorithm and kinematic reconstruction assuming $t\overline{t}+X$ production and decay, a sample of $0.9\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data, collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider, is used to measure the asymmetry for different jet multiplicities. The result is also used to set upper limits on $t\overline{t}+X$ production via a ${Z}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ resonance.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
