La promenade, forme ancienne de transmission des savoirs, ne cesse d’évoluer notamment par l’entremise des artistes qui transcendent l’acte de marcher en acte de création. Ainsi, dans cet article, nous insisterons sur le rapport ville-nature mis en scène par les artistes à travers la lecture de différents dispositifs artistiques mobilisant la promenade sous différentes forme : dérive, flânerie, etc. Ainsi, nous serons en mesure, d’une part, de révéler les manières dont les artistes mobilisent la promenade notamment dans le rapport ville-nature et, d’autre part, d’identifier et d’approfondir les dimensions de la promenade mobilisées par les artistes pour proposer des pistes en matière d’aménagement de l’espace urbain favorable à la promenade.
