Abstract
Cet article porte sur l’émergence d’une approche de la médiation culturelle et politique observée dans le cadre de politiques culturelles municipales. Abordée sous l’angle de la place des acteurs dans les processus de mise à l’agenda, d’élaboration, de mise en oeuvre et de suivi des politiques culturelles municipales québécoises, la médiation culturelle est ici présentée selon différentes perspectives, théoriques et pratiques. Différents exemples concrets de médiation culturelle ont été observés lors d’une étude en cours portant sur la place des acteurs dans les processus d’adoption et d’application des politiques publiques municipales. Ceux-ci sont à l’origine de notre questionnement sur l’émergence de la médiation culturelle qui, au-delà de la terminologie, s’observe dans différentes applications et différents usages.
