Abstract
L’engagement dans un groupe analytique n’est jamais chose facile. Des exemples tirés de la pratique de la psychothérapie de groupe et quelques considérations théoriques illustrent qu’une des principales difficultés est l’ampleur de la régression et de l’angoisse ressentie à certains moments du groupe, notamment dans ses débuts ou lors de l’arrivée de nouveaux participants. Pour réussir à s’adapter et à vivre dans un groupe, pour que ce milieu ne demeure pas irrespirable, il faut qu’y soit favorisée la capacité de métaboliser la libido débordante en parole vivante. Pour cela, il faut pouvoir y retrouver/recréer un lien suffisamment bon à l’objet-groupe qui peut représenter la mère et le monde humain.
