Abstract
L’autonomie a constitué l’une des revendications essentielles des féministes québécoises à travers le temps. Les éditorialistes de La Vie en rose se sont aussi efforcées de l’inscrire dans leurs textes de manière à convaincre son lectorat de son caractère essentiel à la réalisation du projet féministe. Pour elles, il s’agissait aussi de prêcher par l’exemple. Cet article entend démontrer, à travers une analyse de la rhétorique et du discours, qu’en exploitant le thème de l’autonomie sur trois plans précis, les rédactrices de la revue ont activé un levier rhétorique important, de telle sorte qu’elles se sont imposées comme de véritables leaders autant dans le champ médiatique qu’au sein du mouvement féministe des années 1980.
