L'accumulation de la gédunine dans différents organes d' Azadirachta indica A. Juss. a été évaluée par HPLC. Ce composé est abondant dans l'épicarpe du fruit (0,1 à 0,8% par rapport à la matière sèche). Les fruits immatures verts sont plus riches en gédunine que les fruits mûrs. La teneur de ce composé est inférieure à 0,1% dans les feuilles et est sous forme de traces dans les autres organes de la plante. .
