Abstract
L’objectif de cet article est de mieux comprendre l’articulation entre l’ancrage résidentiel des adolescents habitant dans des quartiers ségrégués et leurs pratiques de mobilité dans la ville. Nous nous appuyons pour cela sur le cas des adolescents de catégories populaires et moyennes qui habitent dans des zones urbaines sensibles (ZUS) franciliennes. L’emploi de matériaux statistiques, ethnographiques et d’entretiens semi-directifs nous permet de montrer que les adolescents de ZUS ont un potentiel de mobilité inférieur à celui des autres adolescents, mais que vivre dans un quartier ségrégué ne signifie pas nécessairement une absence de fréquentation du reste de la ville.
