Abstract
Cet article tente de contribuer à la clarification d’une approche culturelle de l’enseignement. L’auteur prend pour cadre de référence l’herméneutique contemporaine, en particulier l’herméneutique représentée par Gadamer et Ricoeur. Il présente six principes herméneutiques et examine la pertinence de cette approche au regard de la fragmentation et de la dispersion qui caractérisent la culture actuelle et qui affectent en profondeur la culture scolaire et le rôle de l’enseignant comme médiateur de culture. L’auteur dégage enfin les conséquences de cette approche sur la mise en place des conditions d’une pédagogie de la culture.
