Résumé Les études sociologiques confirment la résistance de la famille face aux tendances déstructurantes de la ville. La famille apparaît comme un espace d’identité, de projet, de solidarités. Face aux difficultés économiques d’intégration des populations précaires, elle constitue aussi un espace de repli. La ville apparaît alors comme un lieu d’inégalités où le modèle dominant est difficile à atteindre. D’où une ambivalence entre attachement au quartier et exclusion.
