Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

At least seven countries have developed and published national Alzheimer's disease/dementia plans of action and more are in process. In the US at least 25 states have done so, and several Swiss cantons and one Canadian province. To one extent or another the plans impact public awareness, the research and care enterprise and societal resources mapped against the challenge of ADRD. The presentation will compare and contrast published up to 7 national and at least 4 sub national plans across the planning methods used, the objectives identified, and the implementation structures created. The comparison should yield themes for those interested in advocating for such a process with their governments and some areas of policy consideration that may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Through national and international Alzheimer organizations the government plan movement is alive and well. Its impact on society, government allocation of resources and the research and care enterprise may be pervasive and long lasting.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
